Housing Rehabilitation Grants
Grants are available to qualified applicants to develop rental properties in Gilliam County
The Pioneer Community Development Corporation (PCDC) administers grant programs to qualified applicants seeking to build or rehabilitate dwellings for use as rental properties in Gilliam County. Total funding of up to $30,000 for qualified applicants and projects. Grant applications are accepted on a rolling basis. All applications are subject to approval by the Pioneer Community Development Corporation and availability of program funds.
New Rental Housing Rehabilitation Grant
- Grant funding of $20,000 per new rental housing unit
- Given as a grant in a direct contribution to the developer upon completion of project
- Housing unit must exist as a rental for a period of at least five years
- Vacation homes are not eligible
Attainable Housing Development Grant​
- Housing rehab grant up to $20,000
- For existing, non-owner occupied dwelling on a foundation; cannot be used as second home
- For updates like roofing, plumbing, electrical, flooring, exterior finishing, landscaping
- Manufactured homes are not eligible
