We offer incentives and grants to help you build in Gilliam County

The Pioneer Community Development Corporation was established to help meet the demand for housing in rural Gilliam County, Oregon. With a growing workforce and reignited economy, the purpose of our program is to improve and increase the availability of quality housing in the Gilliam County towns of Condon and Arlington.

Small Developers

Incentives, loans and grants are available to builders, developers and contractors interested in building in Gilliam County. Single and multiple lots available.

Homebuyers and Landowners

Incentives, loans and grants are available to homebuyers, homeowners and landowners seeking to build or renovate in Gilliam County.

Stake your claim in one of Oregon's frontier counties

Established in 1885, Gilliam County is home to nearly 2,000 residents. Located 2.5 hours from Portland, you'll find Gilliam County in a scenic wheat-growing region of North Central Oregon near the Columbia River George.

Applications for the loan and grant programs were made available beginning March 1, 2018, and will continue be accepted on a rolling basis. All loan applications are subject to approval by the Pioneer Community Development Corporation Loan Committee and availability of program funds.
